2025 Mental Health Awareness Month

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, created to increase awareness of the importance of focusing on mental wellness and reduce the stigma of mental illness.


Established by Mental Health America in 1949, this year's theme is “Turn Awareness into Action." This suggests the need to move beyond simple awareness, expanding to skill building and intentional behaviors focused on enhancing emotional wellbeing.

Throughout the month, we will provide resources and strategies that encourage the integration of action steps to enhance your mental health not just in May, but all year long.

Mental Skills to Optimize Performance & Wellness

Consistently training mental skills not only helps us perform at our best but also supports overall well-being. Below we introduce four foundational techniques that can be practiced daily to strengthen focus, resilience, and emotional balance both on and off the field.
