Sunday September 8, 2024, is National 988 Day, a day to raise awareness around the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and its related activities.
This year marks the first National 988 Day, in what will become an annual tradition that takes place every September 8, during National Suicide Prevention Month.
Get involved:
- Use the 988 Day Toolkit, which provides a host of resources that you can use to help promote awareness of the Lifeline.
- Plan a suicide prevention activity, and share the message “No Judgment. Just Help” in any way you think would help!
- When posting on September 8, use the hashtag #988Day to share your activities and promote awareness of the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Then check out the social event to see how others are raising awareness.
